BLISS FAMILY AVIATION MANAGEMENT SCHOLARSHIP

The Bliss Family Aviation Management Scholarship is one of the programs that gives financial assistance to students who are taking their collegiate studies in Aerospace Administration and Operations program with a minor concentration in Aviation Management. The scholarship awards amounts to a maximum of $1000. It is found under the SES scholarships of Oklahoma State University.

Program Requirements
- Should be enrolled full time as an undergraduate student in Aerospace Administration and Operations program degree at Oklahoma State University
- should be enrolled as a degree option in Aviation Management for the whole academic year
- Should complete 30 student credit hours with OSU and must have a 3.0 cumulative GPA or more
- preference will be given to Female Aviation Management students

AMELIA EARHART MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIPS FOR WOMEN PILOTS
The Amelia Earhart Memorial Scholarships are for pilot members who are licensed so they can advance in their education and training in aerospace and aviation. This includes scholarships to complete their additional pilot ratings and certificate, college degrees, jet type ratings and technical training.
How to Apply
Each of the applicants who belong to a Chapter will need t request a recommendation letter from their chapter. Each Scholarship Chapter chairman must notify the members that they should submit their scholarship applications on December 1 and should promptly return the original applications with completed 99s Recommendation to Applicants. The original application forms including the 99s recommendation for the applicants belonging to that Chapter should be submitted by applicant to her Section Scholarship Chairman on or before December 20.
The application forms will be available by July 2011. The file for the application form can be downloaded or printed from the website and should be filled out online. Once completed online, the applicant should print the form. It cannot be saved as a file with the entries.

Program Requirements
The Programs:
- Flight Training Scholarship
? A fully paid scholarship that helps in completing an additional pilot rating, certificate or a pilot training course
? Requirement: Should currently be a pilot with the proper medical certificate and should be approaching their requirement for flight time for their certificate or rating (if any) - Jet Type Rating Scholarship
? A fully paid scholarship that helps in completing their type rating certificate in any jet aircraft
? Requirement: Currently an airline Transport pilot with first class medical certificate or a NON US equivalent, and with a minimum of 100 hours flight time in multi-engines or the combined turbine and multi-engine time. - Academic Scholarship
? A scholarship award up to a maximum of $5,000 given towards 1 year of collegiate degree in aerospace or aviation. Students can reapply for their continuing support after graduation. - Technical Training Scholarship
? A fully paid scholarship that helps complete the aerospace or aviation technical training or the student’s certification course.
? Requirement: Will exclude any flight training and any of the technical training that will be part of a degree program in college.
? Requirement: Bachelors, Associates, Doctorate or Masters degree in fields like aerospace engineering, air traffic management, aviation business management, or professional pilot. Flight training can be included if it is integrated. Student should be currently enrolled and earn a 3.0 or more cumulative GPA on a 4.0 or its equivalent.

The Ninety -Nines founded the Amelia Earhart Memorial Scholarship Fund to honor the memory of Amelia Earhart. She was the 1st president of the Ninety-Nines and is a Charter member. The scholarship foundation has grown over the years to help other female pilots totaling to over 400 from 6 different countries to succeed and advance in the field of aviation and aerospace.
The Amelia Earhart Memorial Scholarship Fund is a separate and unique entity from the Ninety-Nines, Inc. and is managed by a charter of trustees of 99 members. The funds are used to give scholarships, awards and grants yearly to all the Ninety-Nine members who are eligible for applying.
