North Michigan University is known to provide education at its finest. The faculty members of this University, are full time teachers and are known to have received a doctorate degree and has attained highest degrees in their chosen fields. NMU, one of the known campuses that is recognized as a large notebook computer campus. All  student who enrolled here receive their own laptops as part of their tuition fee.

NMU is one of the Universities in the State of Michigan. Since there are only three in the area, NMU helps in serving the community. Known to have a state of the art laboratories, they have 52 facilities that caters to almost all of the degree programs that requires laboratories, they have theater center, galleried, sports center and a very large and beautifully made library.

They have been awarded for their innovative system of learning as part of the their curriculum. They incorporate technology in their goal of delivering good education.
