The Big Bend Community College or BBCC is a higher learning institution offering two-year college courses and located in Moses Lake, Washington. The Big Bend Community College was founded in 1962 and primarily offers associate’s degrees in several academic and vocational fields. The Big Bend Community College held its first regular classes in Moses Lake High School at night. In 1963, the Big Bend Community College opened its classes in their current facility. The college acquired a 159-acre land on the former Larson Air Force Base in 1966 and this became the permanent college campus for all programs in 1975.

Degree in Accounting – Tax Accountancy
The Big Bend Community College or BBCC offers a degree in Accounting – Tax Accountancy. Under the field of accounting, there are many sub-specialities and one of them is the tax accountancy. This sub-specialization of accounting degree is one of the main degrees in BBCC. This degree program will teach students or majors in this program on how to assist to individuals or group of individuals, companies, and government units in terms of tax obligations and the many intricacies it has. The fundamental classes or subjects critical in the tax accountancy program are basically the same as those of accounting majors. This includes Auditing, Introductory Accounting Principles, Tax Regulations national and international, Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Ethics, and Research Analysis. The BBCC offers an Associate’s degree in accounting – tax accountancy and this can be taken within two years.
